How to wash human hair wigs in summer

Most African women like to wear human hair wigs. As human hair wigs are made of my 100% virgin human hair and it can be feel comfortable and natural look. The price will be expensive. So human hair wig need to washed regularly especially in the summer. The right way to wash the wigs can last it longer and keep the pattern well. In this article we will talked about it how to wash properly in this summer?

 Preparation

One wide-tooth comb, shampoo, conditioner, Moisturizing spray, one bowl and warm water

Step 1. Brush or Comb Human Hair Wigs

First use one tooth-comb brush the lace wig gently and make sure there is no knots. When you comb the wig, you need to start from roots. Usually for curly or deep wave human hair wigs, we don’t suggest to use the comb to brush, you can just use the finger comb it let the hair smoothly.

Step 2. Apply the shampoo

Choose one high quality shampoo and suit on your human hair wig, if you are washing your curly hair, you can use the shampoo for curly hair. First full the sink with Luke warm water. Remember do not us the cold water, add the shampoo to the water and use your hand mixed it. Then place it in the shampoo solution. Please do not swish or swoosh the hair that will cause matting or tangling. You can gently scrub the inside of the cap. After you wash the inside cap, you can let the wig in the shampoo and water for about 10-20mins. After you let the wig soak, rise the wig out with a faucet hose or regular faucet on low pressure in a downwards. Remember use the warm water, do not use the cold water. Then remove the wig from the water and gently ring some of the water off in a downwards

Step 3. air dry

Place the wig on mane-quin head and use T-pins to hold it in place. Now apply for conditioner in downwards, after you have put the condition on the wig, place 1/4 cup water at the bottom of zip-lock bag and then put your wig in bag, make sure all wig is inside the bag. Then put the zip-lock bag into the microwave on the bottom shelf for 1mins. Then remove and let set in closed bag for 10-20mins until is cool. Once cool, remove the wig and place back on mannequin head or if you do not have one, use earlier technique, we showed you to rinse you wig with Luke water water. Your wig should now have a nice , smooth and soft feel, ring dry as shown earlier. And then pat semi- dry with towel and then let air dry and style as normal.
