The hair is very very soft there is some shedding but not too too much. This is at its natural state once washed and conditioned. The hair did not have a bad smell at all I love the texture it gives when wet I personally prefer it this way though it straightens well and holds a curl very well. Overall i love the unit I was satisfied with everything it even came with an elastic band some lashes 2 caps and a melt band it’s a must have!! Don’t walk BUT RUN AND GET THIS WIG NEOOWWWWWWW!!!!!
